Burke Mountain Coquitlam Incident | Search Underway

Pursuit and salvage teams are searching for two youngsters who are missing on Burke Mountain in Coquitlam, B.C.

RCMP state the six-year-old young lady, seven-year-old kid and their dad were harmed when they tumbled down a "lofty, tricky precipice" on their way down a climbing trail late Sunday.

An announcement said the dad had the option to make the troublesome move back up the slope, while harmed, to get help. RCMP and inquiry and salvage groups from Coquitlam, Maple Ridge and the North Shore are as yet searching for the youngsters.

Coquitlam RCMP Staff Sgt. Paul Vadik said the youngsters were cognizant when their dad made the "troublesome choice" to abandon them. Vadik said the dad figured the trip would be unreasonably hazardous for the kids.
